IEKHETA NASUMBRA

This creation is called Iekheta Nasumbra, it is primarily a manifestation of the Powers of the Second Cell of the Azoetic Sorcery and is particularly concerned with the Mysteries and magickal uses of the influences of the Moon. It may provide an ally to deepen one’s assimilation and manipulation of the Astral Mentruum and act as a potential Gateway to our Starry Lady of the Sabbatic Tradition.
The scene shows a devotional possession where an hollogramatic recognition of the archetype of the Great Priestess takes place in the corporeal body of the magician. The priestess, as she dances in the sabbatic-round dance and finds ecstasy in the embrace of the procession of nymphs and satyrs, transfers the magnetic imprints she's been receiving by the spirits of the Sabbat. This transfer can take different ways and forms of expression such as oracular revelations, creation and charge of magickal artefacts, automatic drawings...

The central figure is an anthropomorphic representation of the daimonic powers of this Aethyr and by extension of the body of the witch ridden and entranced by those very powers. Her upside down position may be an indication of the Via Nocturna or a simple reminder of the most famous axiom of Hermes Trismegistus expressed by William Blake in his 'Marriage of Heaven and Hell' as :

'It indeed appear'd to Reason as if Desire was cast out, but the Devil's account is,
that the Messiah fell & formed a heaven of what he stole from the Abyss.‘

The mirror game between the Above and the Below denotes here a reciprocation between the Infernal and Empyrean Sabbat.

The 3 faced figure above the priestess shows the presence of Hekate Triformis ruling over the lunar cycles. The particular place of her appearance, just above the yoni of the priestess, indicates the ritual use of the sexual emissions. Offering her virginity on the carnal bed of the Earth, the priestess is reborn to herself in the starry web which is the very manifestation of Life itself. The Heptagram of Babalon is revived in the burning glow of her desire among Men and the Holy Libation of the Santa Greal can be partaken between the adepts of the Circle. The burning fire shows the stellar energy she draws down from the Heaven to the Earth.

The two sigils on each side form a trinity of symbols with the hand and are alltogether linked to the astral exploration of the Ecstatic Reverie, and to the incubation of the stellar currents. With the Apex on the Hand , they symbolise the projection of the Eye of the Oracle in the Dreaming Aires.
Just below, the Arachne appears as a totemic form for the exploration of the dark sides of the Moon.
The Arachne’s legs, interlinking with the boughs in a black and white play of serpentine undulations, reminds of the True Midnight Hour, when the Web of Time and Space is on the point to be spread.
The Sigil on her back gives a key for a further exploration of the Greater Mysteries.

On the sides, the opposite Trees play the role of the dryadic guardian of the ascension and descent of the body of shadow of the sorcerer. It is them that open the way of Ingress to the boughs of the Empyrean Sabbat or to the roots of the Infernal one. Together, they represent the Sum of the Possibilities of Being that the sorcerer may embrace in its past, present and future incarnations. In their vegetative body we can see a carnal florescence of spirits flowing, showing that by the very force of Union, the adept crosses the dualities and boundaries of his psychocosm and may become one again with the very essence of Being. This movement of Evolution, running in the very substance of the Tree, mirrors the Divine Love that takes place between the Lover and the Beloved and the fervour of the adept in his research toward the Absolute.
